I am getting tired of all the weirdness I have encountered lately with hotmail. I keep changing my password, and that fixes it, but it is making me less comfortable with using it. Is gmail any better? If I set up a gmail account, and forward hotmail messages, will I be importing the weirdness from hotmail?
Yes, I am technologically clueless, so no need to point that out. |
| What weirdness? |
| Gmail requires passwords |
| Gmail requires passwords |
| Weirdness like not being able to access my account, odd formatting or error messages. No one in m y contacts is getting spam messages, so I don't think the account is hacked. |
| Something is going on with hotmail today. I don't get it either. They sent me a message saying that all my messages were put in the POP folder and would be deleted. |

GMail is ten times more robust than Hotmail. Hotmail essentially stopped developing new features after it was bought by Microsoft many years ago.
Every 5 years or so they'll create a new "skin" but fundamentally it's an old service. |
| Yes grandma, Gmail is much better than hotmail. Although, I have never used it on a dial-up modem. Good luck. |
| Oh hey, you might want to move from MySpace to a new thing called Facebook. |
