Hello,
Does anyone know of any in-home daycare openings for an infant around the mid-January timeframe? We're in Bethesda and need care 4-5 full days a week. I am on waitlists galore and have called several dozen in-home daycares for my soon-to-be-born son. We are leaning towards an in-home day care because the larger centers are going to be tough on us financially. Any leads would be appreciated! |
| I went through this while expecting my baby. In my experience, most home daycares did't want to commit to giving a spot until 1 month in advance. You could ask each home daycare how far in advance they typically confirm spots. |

Talk to Devi Nathan. She has an opening now, but could very well have one then, too. She is located in Bethesda (in neighborhood off Grovesnor Lane) and is great! My son (8 month old) is there right now. She is licensed by state of MD. I know she puts his needs first and is dedicated to providing loving, personal care to the children she watches. Her phone number is 301-530-6261.
If, however, you want to ask me some questions first, email me at barrett_maggie@yahoo.com. Otherwise, good luck!

| Thanks. Yes, I've found they don't want to talk to me this soon or won't even return calls. Hard when you're a planner! |

I would look at International Daycare of Bethesda. Near NIH.
George and Mariana Ilie. Fantastic. internationaldaycarebethesda.com |
| I've emailed International Daycare twice in the last month and got no response... |
| I've been looking for an in-home day care for that same time and found that most providers can't do much for you unless you need care when they know they have an opening, and they don't often have that much notice of openings. Most I talked to said I should call them back closer to when we need care to see if they have vacancies. |
