How much do the teachings differ at Christian preschools? Lutheran, UMC, Baptist, etc...

I have heard that most have very little Bible story sharing but what would be some of the differences? I am looking at a few denominations who have preschools in my area but what types of differences in beliefs would you expect between denominations?

My oldest attended a Southern Baptist preschool in a southern state for about 6 weeks.

We pulled him after a fire and brimstone lesson about Adam and Eve left him terrified.

I don't know if that was an exception, rather than the rule, but my Missionary Baptist BIL was not surprised.

The DC area is more liberal than the south, so perhaps that type of passionate lesson would not occur in preschools here. If something like that would concern you, ask other parents before you join. The school he was at was highly recommended, but I never asked specifically about fire and brimstone

My son goes to a baptist preschool in this area. The Christian education is very mild -- one day I was at school while this segment was going on and it consisted of the leader singing songs with the children like "Be good to each other.. be good to each other". They also have some of the basic bible stories books that get read in class. I like it because it's a school where they can actually mention the word "Christmas", even though my son corrected me when he was two and a half when I said "Merry Christmas" to someone. "No Mommy. Happy Holidays!". So I guess even the church schools aren't immune.

The preschool is a Christian school, but they have asked parents of other faiths to come in and mention a bit about their holidays and maybe bring in some food appropriate to that holiday.

So around the DC area, there's probably not going to be a whole lot of complex dogma or belief structures being passed on in the preschool, unless it's a preschool that was specifically set up by members of a faith community to address the needs of that community.
