iowa test

Is it something a student can prepare for or is it like cogat where prep is not recommended? If there is practice out there, what would be the best ones? Thanks!

The Iowa Test of Basic skills is a subject mastery type test, not an ability or IQ test.

The best way to score well on this test is to be a good student, in my opinion.

What school district uses the Iowa?

FCPS uses the Iowa Algebra Aptitude Test (IAAT) for students in 6th grade taking advanced (7th grade) math.

What books would kids use to prepare for the test?

I tried like hell to find one but never did. Still, DC score a ___. (nah, gonna show some restraint here; I agree with pther who say posting your kid's exact score isn't necessary). But it was good.

Why would you want to?

You prepare for this test by paying attention in class, doing your homework, being strong in math concepts, etc.

It is pretty cut and dry.

Just make sure your child does his/her best in every math class and that should be good enough.
