Once you get a permit to have work done, what do you do with it?

| Does it have to be posted at the work site? Does it just sit in a file somewhere? This is for a fence. |

| I think it depends on the county. Usually you can keep it with your records and the posting it at the work site is pretty much outdated since permits can be looked up on line. A lot of counties do not require that but I see people still do it. |

| MoCo requires that building permits be posted...not sure about the rules for a fence permit, but usually the permit itself has specific language regarding its posting. |
