I love duvets for winters. However, the slips and slides inside the cover, and does not stay in place. Any tips on how to prevent that? I was thinking of perhaps sewing the sides of the duvet to the cover.
Buy plastic snaps or get some little (3") fabric ties and sew one to each corner of the duvet and the inside cover.

They sell clips that you can use to hold the comforter and the duvet together. I got mine at Bed Bath & Beyond.

Look at the corners of the comforter. Mine have little loops. Look at the inside of the duvet cover; mine have canvas strips that tie onto the loops. If yours don't have the loops or ties and you are handy with sewing you could easily make your own.
