Shower Hostess Gifts

So my two best friends are coming in from out of town to host my shower in a few weeks. Another friend is volunteering her house for the party and is assisting.
I'd like to do something nice for each of them and I'm looking for fun ideas. Here's one idea for the friend offering her house - they do lots of entertaining and like bubbly but I'm not sure if it's lame to give her something that I'd also like her to serve during my party! Thanks for any ideas you may have!!

Just had my shower this weekend and I gave the hostesses these cute, soft pajama sets from Gap Body -- they have a bunch of different colors in stores now.

They all seemed to really like them.

If you live in DC, a great store to get neat hostess gifts is Go Mama Go on 14th and R(ish) in DC. I have gotten so many gifts there for women (including shower hostess gifts). They have really neat vases, platters, bowls, tea sets, some table linens. It's always such a great hit, and you will most likely be able to walk out of there with something.

I have a similar problem, but the person hosting is one of my guy friends. I guess alcohol is always welcome, but maybe not original.
Any thoughts are very appreciated.

I got my friend a spa certificate, so she could get a massage after all the hard work she put in for my shower....
