Just checking. The kids get lunch at aftercare or home on Mondays, right?
Nope. Earlier lunch.
Ohhhh. Is this at every school they have lunch at school on Mondays?
At some schools they aren't dismissing until close to 1pm (earlier and later as well), then the bus runs take a bit to get the kids home, so I'm guessing that ALL FCPS schools have in school lunch on Mondays. I can't imagine otherwise, and their lunch schedule includes Mondays for the district, but you need to ask you school specifically as the times are likely different.
Early release with lunch on an adjusted schedule.
Lunch is served everyday--early closing before Thanksgiving, Mondays, early closing due to weather. You name it, lunch is served.
Yes, lunch everyday. Sometimes it's at like 10:40 am.
I believe they have to serve lunch for it to be considered a school day.
Last year our lunches started at 10:15 and ran up to within 10 minutes of dismissal.

How on earth can they go any earlier? On regular days, my kid's grade is schedule to eat lunch ONE hour after the school day begins. |
Think of the kids who rely on free lunches..they serve lunch everyday.
+1. For some kids, it is the only real nutrition they get in the day.
