Someone to help design nursery & kid room?

I simply don't have the time or, frankly, talent, to put together the baby's room or to finish my dd's room. I look at all the options and feel totally overwhelmed. In fact, I bought the most adorable wall decals last October for my toddler's room and still can't figure out where to put them, so they are taped to the wall! Are there any good interior designers that specialize in children's rooms? Or, knowing the talent on this board, anyone who just loves to decorate and wants a challenge? We live in a modern home and don't want anything frilly or cutesy - just simple, elegant, fun with good storage options.

You should try calling Dana at Daisy Baby and see if she (or anyone else there) makes house visits. She helped me with everything from paint color ideas to bedding and furniture. She thought of every detail I would have missed.

We got our furniture from Daisy Baby and Dana was great. However, we ran into snags with our bedding pieces we picked out and cancelled the order and got the bedding from Javis Davis.com. I really loved being able to see the various bedding options and they do free consults with you on the phone or via email - I have another one today. I can totally relate to just feeling overwhelmed and short on time to get things done. The mention of Dana at Daisy Baby is a good one. However, if she is not available to do what you are looking for then you may want to check out my relatively new business which caters to helping expecting moms and parents with all tasks baby and child related. One of the things that I help clients do is get their rooms and nurseries ready. I follow the client's lead and then provide them with ideas and suggestions and then do the work myself if that is what they desire or I can line up painters, vendors, etc. I work on an hourly rate or by a "package" formula if it seems it would be more economically sound to go that way.
