I'm on the hunt, will go anywhere in the area, for a female urologist who treats adult kidney disease. The practices appear dominated by males, and I'd really prefer a female. However, all the females that I've found (the few) seem to specialize more in pelvic prolapse, incontinence, and so on not kidney stuff.
Anyone know a doctor who might fit the bill? Thanks! |
| What about a nephrologist? Do they have subspecialties involving kidneys/ urology? Might be another group of drs for you to look at. Sorry, no specific recs. |
OP here, thanks....I have a nephrologist, but now due to some complications, need a urologist. Fun fun fun.... |

Doesn't specialize in kidney issues, but I saw her for an issue that is not listed as one of her 'specialties' and she is WONDERFUL - Janice Arnold, in Reston.
