HS mom here. Sadly, my kid was told she was undersized for the colleges she hoped to play at, which is why I mentioned to hope for size. Of course you can’t will it into being but I hope all your girls don’t face the same results my kid did. Size does matter (she is little all around, so maybe a stronger but shorter player would have better luck).

What size is your daughter?

Abby Bosco is 5'3

Hanna Davis is a 2024 commited to BC and is listed 5'1 100 lbs.

Are you implying that those two are the norm?

I don't think Izzy Scane is 100 lbs.

Somewhere in the first 60 pages or so this topic was covered extensively. Summary--size and speed can help, especially for defense--not at all dispositive. Almost every top 25 team has players at the shorter/smaller range in meaningful roles. And then Data Guy did a speed study based on UA 150.

Where is this speed study by Data Guy?

Not sure. He's pretty kind to Stars and seems to know a lot about their inner workings.

I agree which goes against him being a Pride dad.

But he is intelligent and data driven which argues against being from Stars. Who knows?

The last post is showing the Pride bias, so Pride Dad. Pride played 1 good team in NGLL and lost. They didn’t even play Stars. Somehow they will go on to make the championship?

First time in NGLL MDU isn't in playoffs, currently ranked #11 nationally, lost by 2 to the #6 Crush and suddenly they "aren't a good team". You all have real short memories.

Based on some of the recent analysis and incorrect data, yes.

Huh? Missing on Hero's vs Coppermine? That was a toss up. What "incorrect data"?

Leave DG alone. He works hard to provide quality analysis and generate positive discussions. I guess we could all go back to discussing Capital tryouts though.
