Prevacid/Zantac and sleep issues?

My 7 mo old is waking every two hours all night. Each time he wakes up screaming. We've tried coping with it in a variety of ways but nothing works. It seems as though something is waking him up/keeping him from getting comfortable. He's been on Prevacid since 3mo. When the sleep issues started getting bad we thought it might be his reflux acting up so our GI increased his dose. After no improvement we added Zantac. Since then things have only gotten worse and I'm starting to suspect the Meds. I've done some searches and some people speculate that both Meds could cause sleep issues but no one posted stories about sleep improving without the Meds.
Anyone have sleep issues with the Meds? What did you do about it? I hate giving him so much medication and would like to take him off entirely but recognize things could get even worse. Thanks! |

| It could be teething, a cold or allergies or something else. |

| He has no signs of a cold or allergies. Teethings is always possible but it's been over a month of this and getting worse. Plus, during the day he isn't doing any of the classic teething behavior. |
