I flagged a post that plagiarizes commentary on another Web site and you either deleted my post calling it out by mistake or some reason that's not clear to me.
Either xxxxx, an ACPS school board member, is posting to DCUM anonymously and cutting and pasting the same comments he posted (by name) to the Del Ray Patch, or someone else is plagiarizing xxxxxx.... Can you shed some light here? |

If you want to identify others by name, you are going to have to use your name as well. I don't know which of the two possibilities regarding the post is correct. I have no way of knowing.

| I have to assume, then, that the poster IS the ACPS school board member who posted the same, identical comments on the Del Ray Patch site using his name. This assumption is based on my understanding that you didn't tolerate copyright violations here. Given that you haven't deleted or edited the verbatim content, the logical conclusion is it isn't a copyright violation because the poster owns the copyright in both forums, and we have a member of the Alexandria City Schools board posting anonymously on this site. |
