I have maxed out my individual contribution to Obama/Biden for the general election, and I can't figure out how to choose among the many other groups that are supporting the campaign. Any thoughts on which are likely to be most effective? |
I donated to Moveon.org.
I've never donated to a political cause before, but I have and will be donating again. |
Anyone else? |
Donate to the DNC. It will be running pro-Obama ads.

Obama is no longer opposed to money going to 527 groups. The two largest are the Service Employees International Union and America Votes. Do you belong to a union under the SEIU blanket? America Votes is going to focus on get-out-the-vote efforts, so that might be a good place to put your money. Or you can give to MoveOn. |
PP here. Also the DNC and its different sub funds. |
Sorry. Just saw my DNC post was unnecessary. |
The DNC is the best place to give if you have maxed out to Obama. They will be running, and have run, "independent expenditure" ads to promote Obama, and will also have on-the-ground operations in key states. |
