Drive-in movie theaters? Family Drive-In? Bengie's?

Considering a last-of-summer drive-in movie road trip for this weekend. Anyone been to Family Drive-in? We went to Bengie's a few years ago but their rules were a bit -- well -- the word "militant" comes to mind.

Any other places for a drive-in movie experience?

Replying to my own post - we went to Family Drive-In and it was great! We saw three movies after arriving early (6:40 pm) and were able to get a good spot right up front. Concessions were good and reasonably priced, too. I recommend Family Drive-In over Bengie's.

They are 1 mile South of Stephens City, Virginia on US Rt. 11. From I-81, use the Stephens City exit (Exit 307).

Family Drive-In allows you to bring in outside food, but they REALLY ask you to patronize their cincession stand as that is where they make their revenue. Prices are not bad at all for food so we opted to primarily bring bottled water.

I haven't been to a drive-in since my parents took me to see ET in the 80s! would love to check this out sometime.
