| We are looking at renting in bounds for Lafayette or Murch. DS has some indicators of inattentive ADD, it runs in both families. Is the noise/distraction factor higher at Lafayette due to the moveable walls? DS is not medicated and we've been told to watch and wait until he is a bit older. Any advice? |
| Our child has an ADHD diagnosis and we visited the school and talked to the principal. She said there were no accommodations made for kids with attention issues and actually seemed to think it odd that we viewed the airwall set-up might be an issue. We wound up getting into a charter school with traditional classrooms. |

Lafayette is slated to be remodeled with wall going up
However that is not supposed to begin until Next summer and could take years. |
| Our kids have been in the "open air" classrooms at Lafayette for years. None of our kids have ADD or ADHD but believe me, as a frequent volunteer, I don't know how any kids can focus with all the distraction! You can hear other teachers talking, teaching, yelling. Seriously, it it difficult for any kid to focus at alafayette |
None of my kids have mentioned problems focusing. OP, I think this is mainly a parental issue. However, as pp stated, the school will begin renovating next summer. |

I do not know about Lafayette, but my ADHD is at Murch and we found the school quite responsive and attentive to her problems/needs
hope we will not be competing for the same pre-k spot at Murch next year though
