Full day Preschool program for 2 year old?

Anonymous
I'm beginning to look for preschool options for next fall, and am wondering if anyone has some recommendations for full day programs in the metro DC area for 2 year olds? Specifically, schools in Dupont, Columbia Heights, Adams Morgan, Petworth, and Georgetown would all work well. We are open to all options: public, private, non-profit, independent, etc.

I've already performed a search on the site, and while many schools come up, they are not necessarily categorized by age. A lot of the schools that seem to have generated discussion on this board seem to be the more prominent private ones. I know this topic has likely come up numerous times before. I appreciate any help people might be able to provide, and any remarks on personal experience with specific schools would be above and beyond. Thanks so much!

I think there is an opening at the Owl School which is near Georgetown in Foggy Bottom. It's been around a while - over twenty years or so. An all day private school with a really nice director, or so I am told. My little guy is too young, but I will keep this place in mind. So many day care centers! So many kids! So little time!
