Anyone ever block someone on Facebook? If so why?

| Yes, I've done this to two of my younger cousins. I could handle their drinking and pot smoking stupidity any longer, but at the same time, they're family and I didnt want to hear bitching about defriending them. |

| I did it so my former best friend from college wouldn't be able to see me in searches, contact me, or see my comments on mutual friends' posts. She's the only one I blocked. |

| You know you have been blocked if you search for a persons name within FB, and it says No Results and you know they do have a FB account of mutual friends |

Can you tell who is searching for you on FB if they did not login into their FB account? |

| Not that I know of. For example, If someone googles my name and Facebook, how could i ever know? If someone searches for you and they ARE logged into FB, how can you know? I don't think you can know. |

Went on vacation to the Bahamas with a friend that I've known since 5th grade. Found out that while we were in the airport and I went to the bathroom, she stole $100 from me. Wouldn't own up to it and I knew for a fact that she stole from me so I cut off all contact with her...including blocking her on FB.
Blocked a psycho ex bf so he couldn't find or contact me on FB. |
