John's definitely a young Kane....I just hope Laura doesn't turn out to be a future Natasha. Landing Laura is a true example of how much being popular and in the radio industry can be a major perk. There's no way he would've landed her as an average Joe Schmo working a menial job.

I'm friends w/ Sarah on Facebook. Is it bad that when the other day, she posted a picture of her and Mel and someone commented how hot Mel was, I immediately thought 'they MUST be someone just trying to promote the show!'

Well, Natasha finally blogged after weeks and weeks of hinting that she would. And she managed to say absolutely NOTHING! Aside from reiterating she was basically not going to respond for the sake of her girls, she provided no information whatsoever. While she doesn't owe anyone an explanation, she was clearly leading her readers to believe she would provide one. Fairly manipulative, don't you think? I actually suspect that one reason why she can't publicly deny what she was accused of doing is because she did really do those things. Maybe she was justified, maybe there was a rational explanation, but she likely did them and there is probably evidence of that (i.e., the bills, the leaving, the gift cards, etc...). So, stating that she didn't do those things could be a lie that could later be used against her. Regardless, it was a ridiculous, self-pitying post. I'm done with her blog. If I want crappy craft tutorials, I can find them elsewhere...

her face isn't attractive to me either. IMO sarah is prettier. idk what is supposed to be so attractive about mel.

People leave their spouses all the time and take the kids...usually when the other spouse is violent, has cheated, or isn't communicating/has checked out. And they usually go to their parents or a close friend. That's not unusual.

People squirrel away money before they leave. Again, not unusual.

The not paying the bills part? My guess us that was her big F you to someone she felt had checked out and wasn't paying attention (to her, the kids, the family). Not the norm, but certainly a great payback (since it was probably the only power/control she had in the relationship...being a SAHM with the checkbook).

As to her blog: what did you expect her to post? She's in the throes of a divorce. She shouldn't say anything. But stop saying she's guilty of something. What she did is fairly standard when couples split. It's rarely warm and fuzzy.

Let's say for the sake of argument that the credit cards were in both names. Why would Natasha not pay something that would effect her credit as well?

Because to creditors she can blame the bad credit was caused by him as she is a SAHM. She can quickly rebuild/ repair credit once divorce is settled. Then she can/will pay HER bills on time thus showing it (late payments)were caused by him. Not morally right but oh well. No one ever said divorce was pretty or fair.

I have personally seen some pretty shrewd things done in a divorce. One male friend had a ditzy/forgetful wife who was a SAHM. She never had to work during their 30+ yrs of marriage. They divorced b/c she cheated. In their divorce, just so she wouldn't get it, he cleared out one of their hidden nest eggs. He buried $30k cash in their yard. Yes, $30k.. Not legal but he thought it was morally right.

If N kept "taking" (buying gift cards for herself) money, maybe she felt like that was her "paycheck" for working as a SAHM. Legal -yes. Morally- some would say yes. Some would say sneaky. It would depend on what agreement they had concerning how money was to be spent.

She is a single mom. If what Kane said she did is true, I don't agree at all with what she did and think it was totally screwed up. However, as a divorced mother with kids, I consider myself a single mom even though their dad is very involved in their lives, and he and I have a good co-parenting relationship. Simple things like going to the grocery store for a gallon of milk without piling the kids in the car or being able to go for a run before the kids wake up become much more complicated. Having someone give the kids a bath while you make dinner or wash the dishes while you give the kids a bath are gone. I don't whine about those things because that's a part of the choices we made when we decided to divorce, but for you to say she's not a single mom is silly.

As far as divorce goes, you WILL look at your soon-to-be ex and wonder who they are.
Even when 1 party tries to be very fair, the other side will want more. If they are entitled to 50% and you offer/give 60%, they want 70%.

I have friends who are divorce lawyers and also have friends who are divorced. You really don't know anyone until you see them in court.

As for N living in the house, she can be made to sell it and move to a much smaller place.
One wonders if N had planned to get a bigger house- even taking a loss selling old house- knowing that she was about to divorce P. Knowing that answer could factor in the courts decision to make her sell.
Selling homes, even recently purchased homes, happens in court on a daily basis.
