I'd like to commiserate with other woman who have BIG boobs

I'm 42, a 38G, and they just seem to be getting bigger. My bras are so expensive, I have occasional chafing/rash underneath when I wear underwires in sweaty weather, and I'm just sick of it. Shoulder aches, the whole kit and caboodle. Not sure about breast reduction. I'm a size 16, but not sure if they'll go down significantly if I lose weight. I mean, I was a C cup at age 12 and slim. The only thing I enjoy about them is their sensuality and the way men respond to them.

Anyone want to chime in? What do you like/dislike about your huge rack? Anyone had breast reduction?

oops... should be "women"...

36G size 10 here. Only thing i really hate about them is trying to find conservative clothes /dresses. Dresses that fit the rest of my body are too small up front and dresses that fit my boobs are huge elsewhere. Tops tend to be too short because my boobs use up so much fabric! I wear scrubs for work and it took me forever to find ones that didn't look.awful on me! All that aside, i love my big boobs! At some point, after kids, I'll want a lift, but never a reduction!

I can't wear anything with spaghetti straps, or a low v without looking like a prostitute. Also, forget going strapless. It sucks because there are some really cute dresses and tops out there that I wish I could wear.

I feel like they're choking me in my sleep. Am I the only one? They press on my lower neck.

I get where you are coming from. I had breast reduction surgery when I was 20 yo. It was a great move. I am not in constant back pain any more. I didn't even realize the huge weight I was carrying and how much my back ached until after the surgery. Only regret is the diminished milk supply when my dc was an infant.

If I were you op I would look into breast reduction

32G here. Size 8.

I'm a walking advert for weight loss not working to reduce breast size. I went from a 38DD to a 32G -- apparently, the front is the same and the back is smaller. SIGH.

They don't bother me that much, but I sleep in a bra and everything. I want the surgery badly, but I also want to make sure I can maintain my weight loss.

I do recommend Brastop for bras, though. They carry lines that I really like -- Fantasie, Freya, and my favorite, Curvy Kate -- and they're cheaper than buying them at the dept stores. Shipping takes a while, since they're out of England. But they'll let you exchange until you get the right size. (Since Curvy Kate isn't easy to find in the States, it took two exchanges until I got the cup size correct.)

Ewa Michaluk (spelling?) out of Poland is supposed to be amazing and cheap, but I have yet to try the line out.

Now if only I could find a decent sports bra ... I wear the Lululemon Energy bras, and they're better than average, but not perfect.

40DD here and I'm seriously considering reduction to like a 38C cup. So sick of the poking underwires, back pain, chafing, and difficulties finding clothes that fit. My only concern is whether insurance will pay as I don't have the $$ for the procedure at the moment.

I think if you lost some weight and go down to at least a size 6 boobs would get smaller

OP here. That's exactly what I was thinking. Going down six dress sizes is not in the cards for me. I've never been thin and I don't want to be. I'd love to be a size 12 or 10... I can see that happening. I have big boobs and curvy hips. That's my appeal and frankly my identity. Good German stock (think one of those Oktoberfest beer maidens). To the other bodacious ta ta women... carry on. Thanks for your advice and empathy.

New poster, but maybe the PP *was* trying to be helpful. Of course weight loss doesn't always reduce the size of breasts, but a lot of times it does. OP is pretty big, so it wouldn't hurt her to try losing weight before turning to breast reduction surgery, epically because she isn't sure if she wants to have a br surgery.
