How long can lasagna keep?

I have a party on Saturday. Would like to make lasagna ahead of time. How far ahead of time can I make it
And be safe to serve. I prefer not to freeze.

I would do it Friday at the earliest.

Same as PP. Friday at the earliest. Otherwise it will get grody and unappealing. Why don't you want to freeze it?

OP here. I feel it's a hassle to then defrost and cook in the oven. I wanted to make it and reheat quickly.

Why not just assemble it a day or two before, and then bake the day of?

Reheated lasagna is fine to take for your lunch to work, but I personally would not serve it to guests.

Chop your vegetables on Thursday night, assemble lasagna on Friday, and cook on Saturday.
