What kind of legos for 4 year old

My son loves his legos, but we have had he same small collection for a year, and I would like to add onto what we have. Any suggestions? Do they all come in sets - to make specific things, or can I just get a general set that he can make different things with?

There's a Lego store at Tyson's--that's probably your best bet. You can just buy bulk blocks or they have lots of different sets.

At 4 you're probably better off just getting a more general set--there will be ideas on the box for things to build, but nothing too elaborate.
