Infants, Toddlers, & Preschoolers
The only book I own and have read about toddlers is "What to Expect - The Toddler Years." It's ok, but I'm guessing there are some better ones out there. I don't have any specific issues that are troubling me, but my DD is approaching the "terrible twos" and I want to be prepared. Please tell me what your favorite picks are. Thanks!
Happiest Toddler on the Block! I cannot recommend it enough. I know a lot of people have been raving about Happiest Baby on the Block, but it seems like this book is less popular. It offers great insight into how toddlers think as well as many helpful tips for communicating effectively with your toddler that I have found very useful.
OP here -- thanks for your recommendation. I did use "Happiest Baby on the Block" and loved it. His methods really worked for our colicky newborn, so I will check out "Happiest Toddler." Any other good ones out there?
