Wish there was a brand that looked good on me. I'm curvy and they all look like shit on me.
|
| I just buy mine from the Gap. They fit well and are not crazy expensive. Actually, I buy all my jeans from Gap. |
Too bad, PP! A poster on the Fashion Peeve Thread just told us skinny jeans are here to stay and we all should get with the program, one way or the other.
|
I agree with Gap, I bought some there today. The price went up $70 is a lot for Gap jeans.
|
Oh well, I've never been one to be up on the latest fashion.
|
| I have a pair of Citizens that I like - they are not super stretchy, and they are actually more of a straight leg than a skinny leg - they don't stick to the ankle like those jegging things. |
| The problem with straight leg is that you can't wear riding boots with them. The jeans will bunch up. |
That was me who said that. Don't hate! Try Levis 535 Leggings. They're on sale at Zappos right now for less than $40. They have weird juniors sizing. I wear a 29/30 waist and bought the size 9. They fit great and are really skinny at the ankle/calf area so they slip into boots. Very comfy & cute. |
| Gap Always Skinny and Madewell Skinny Skinny. |
You can with these - they are like a hybrid skinny/straight. |
| J brand and Ann Taylor (I know... Who would have think it). |
| I have a pair of Paige jeggings that I love and a pair of 7 for all mankind that also fit great. I am 5'7 125. J brand doesn't fit me well |
|
OP, how tall are you? I love JBrand- fits me like a glove. I'm thin but curvy- have butt and hips. If you have to order a size or two up in skinny jeans, don't fret - better for them not to be too skin tight unless you're going for the jegging look - which I like as well (they pair nicely with oversized sweaters).
I suggest you head to Bloomingdales and try a bunch of brands. |
