Wine in a box

Really. Our neighborhood pool prohibits glass (and those 15 yr old lifeguards are strict about it) and I'm supposed to bring the wine. Any recommendations? Thanks!

Just bring chilled with those hard clear plastic cups?

They have them in metal cans with zip top

So cute! Who knew?

You can buy big house red or white in boxes.

They're adorable, but taste awful!

I love 'Black Box' wines -- honestly, I prefer them over others on the market that come in bottles

Target brand boxed wine got good reviews when it came out, but we live in a state where they can't sell wine at Target. There are several decent options at wine stores though. I'd skip the Franzia.

Put whatever you like to drink in a Coleman cooler--the kind that's about a half gallon, with a pour spout on top.

Then use opaque plastic cups.

Anything in our Coleman cooler tastes like Gatorade.

Get a new one. I have one that's white wine only--in five years, I haven't had that "cooler taste" problem yet.

You'd think I'd have one for red too, but I haven't felt the need for red outdoors during summer sun yet. At night, no one seems to mind the bottle.

Or you could go all high school hippy:

<Joking. I'd never do this. Though some might.>
