Can someone recommend a good comprehensive website for the latest election polls? I feel like I never have all the up-to-date numbers from all the sources. And yes, I'm a little obsessive...thanks! |
I'm sure I'll be flamed, but here it goes:
http://www.fivethirtyeight.com/ |
I won't flame you. I love that site. Another popular site is www.realclearpolitics.com |
This is a totally useless site. They show a tracking polls that measures the popular vote, which as we all know does not matter for the purposes of electing a POTUS. I want to see an electroral college map. Where is the best place to see one of these. |
OP here...this is the electoral map I usually look at:

You will never see the really good, really expensive polls because those are commissioned and paid for by the candidates handlers. I worked for a partisan phone bank service two years ago, and it would amaze you the things that they ask on these polls and the responses that they get. |
www.realclearpolitics.com
Ditto. They average all the major polls plus provide links to the individual polls. |
RCP is my favorite. They also have a great electoral college map with the latest poll data. You can click on the states to see what happens if that state goes the opposite way. Here's the map:
