| I am pregnant and have a 2 year old. We want to put our house on the market, but we need to get it "open house" ready. I have no idea where to begin or what to do, and I am also very pregnant. DH works a lot and can do something but can't do much. Are there people who can help me? |

We're doing the same thing right now. We went through the house room by room and made a list of repairs, things that needed cleaning/attention, etc. and are doing what we can ourselves and hiring someone to do the rest. Depending on what it is a handyman, painter, etc. We also got some tips from our realtor and other people who have come through.

| A realtor does this. He will know handymen to do the work. You need a realtor to help you get it ready. |

| Our realtor did this for us. She advised us which repairs to make and which to skip and had contractors available for the items we needed to get done. She walked through and told us which items to remove and place in storage, then had a stager come in and make changes. She did an amazing job advising us on how to get our home ready and it showed very well--almost made me want to stay! |
