I'm sitting there all prepped up waiting to be rolled into the room where they actually do the colonoscopy. They roll the woman out who just had a colonoscopy. She is still unconscious and her bottom is bare - exposed to the world - they haven't even bothered to cover her up even though she is entering a room where other patients (of both sexes) can potentially see her. Actually, not just patients, but also family members of patients can see her. Yuck!!
I found the whole experience rushed. They tried to give me my results and home care directions while I was lying on my back. I insisted that they wait until my sister was present. Yuck - Endoscopic Surgery Centre of Maryland - I was not impressed. |
| What?! That's awful. |
| Call the centre and let them know your concerns about your experience. I'm especially appalled by the exposure of the woman patient. |

Did you just post about a swimmer with a ripped suit with her butt exposed?

| Please call and talk to them. No one should be treated with so little discretion. That is the office where my dr. does procedures, and I am going to tell him what you said at my next visit! |
| Yes, this needs to be reported to the center. |

Oh my God!
That is so awful. Poor woman!! They probably think just because she is unconscious that it is no big deal. I disagree. Yes, call the centre and report what you saw. This should not happen to anyone. |
