29 days into 26 day cycle negative hpt -- can I hope?

| My cycles are usually 26 days but have taken 3 negative hpt. I think I may call doc tomorrow. I'm trying not to hope, but it's so hard. Been trying for 10 months now. Any thoughts or advice appreciated. |

| OP here. Not confident of ovulation unfortunately was away on vacation (stupid I know...) been using First Response tests. |

| Unless you know for certain when you ovulated, I would not call the doctor for at least another week (maybe 2). It's possible you ovulated late and are pregnant, but more likely you just ovulated a couple of days late and the negative is just a negative. Have you read Taking Charge of Your Fertility? |
