Our family is considering moving to Shanghai. Is anyone familiar with the area? This would be a HUGE (yet exciting) thing for us, but aside from ordering some books online, I have no clue how to approach this decision - esp regarding where to live, schools. If there is anyone who has any advice, I would be so appreciative!

I would google US Embassy Shanghai. Even if you are not going with the gov, you can get great info on living, housing, schools. Pretty much everything. Also maybe an EXPAT site for that area. Have a great time.
