It’s ok. You don’t have to get it.

According to polling he is. And according to polling Harris is more likable than HRC.

This election was not about who was more likable. Maybe be for you, but not as a whole. A lot of the people who voted for Trump don't really like him. They are just mad about the economy and immigration and blame Biden,/Harris.

This proves the hivemind of DCUM is completely out of touch and delusional. Never will I ever take the rantings of self-professed DCUM experts seriously again. Y’all just say what you want to believe.

Trump is a convicted felon who incited an insurrection

None of the J6 defendants have been charged with insurrection and none of the people who voted for him believe that his conviction was just.

It wouldn’t matter. She didn’t come across as likeable to the large majority.

I think it’s funny that you believe the exit polling 24 years after we stopped using them to call elections.

Single questions are no good. They are only helpful in the aggregate.

Proof that Black and Hispanic men are gullible fools. Voting for a man who has openly promised to deport all Hispanics and reinstate slavery. They get what they deserve.

You racist idiot.

White women barely moved a needle after all the talk about abortion rights. But yeah, blame black and hispanic men because white women voted as expected right?

This is squarely on white men and women.

It’s really interesting to see Democrats claim that it was racism and sexism that led to this result while being extremely racist and sexist themselves.

It's not sexism. Hillary did better and last I checked, she was a woman. Democrats found someone less likeable than HRC.

You know who is less likable than HRC? Like definitively, according to extensive polling? Donald Trump.

But people in the middle politically held their noses and voted for him anyway, despite not liking him, because they trust him more on the economy and immigration, despite him proposing weird, unworkable solutions for both.

It is not unreasonable to suggest that people can't get around some deeply engrained beliefs about what qualities a president needs to have, and that those qualities involve not reading as feminine in any way.

Yes, you are correct. Harris is less likeable than Trump. Trump is less likeable than HRC. Trump won the first time as a fluke really, an electoral college oddity. President is always a popularity contest. The general electorate doesn't care about the issues.

The Dems aren’t going to know how to process it when the first woman president turns out to be a republican.

A candidate like Tim Waltz would have wiped the floor with Trump. Why do we keep pushing candidates that are doomed from the start?

Do I think that Hillary would’ve been the most accomplished president this country has ever had? Yes, that is likely, but also irrelevant. We need to be pragmatic and most importantly, we need to learn from mistakes.

Yup.

Well, I think that is on Biden, and then on the democrat party establishment for supporting him so long. If he had not run earlier, we could have had a real primary. No way Harris would have been the winner of the primary. Thanks Biden!!

+1, the timing of Biden's exit made any other candidate unrealistic. And Harris is blameless here. I don't think she could have run a better campaign without literally being another person, and I actually think she's a good person, just not a great presidential candidate. She did her best and I think would have made a pretty good president.

I think we'll elect a white guy governor next. Which is fine. I'm frustrated with how misogynist this country is turning out to be (I'm a woman) but with the state of the Supreme Court and Congress, I think we have no choice but to wrap our policies in old white guy for the foreseeable future.

🥱 seriously?.. seriously? It’s not misogyny.

It's several things but yes it is partly misogyny. If Harris has lost to a Romney type, I wouldn't say this. But she lost to a guy who is a loud and proud misogynist, who brags about bragging women "by the pussy," who was found liable of rape, who calls women he doesn't like stupid and worse, who has cheated on all three of his wives, who talks endlessly about how women look. If America chooses him over a woman, that's at least partly because the country is okay with misogyny and distrustful of women in leadership.

Harris never won a primary in any state; insulted Biden and was still installed as the dei vp; did nothing to help the dem agenda while vp; was installed as the prez candidate outside of the election process; and couldn't string 3 sentences together.

I think Dems will know exactly how to process that, actually.

Joe Scarborough is trying to sound incredulous but seems giddy

I don’t know how they expect Democrats to continue with this President. He has no desire to represent us. He called us the enemy of the people. He is a divider not a leader.

Because Trump hates him and would likely imprison him.
