This. It's January 2021, not March 2020. Just like other parents have to piece it together to do their jobs, teachers who are parents need to do the same. |
Don’t need one. HHI is high six figures with my husband working. Ive got all day to report bashing. |
She's a WTU member getting full pay and benefits while teaching a fraction of the time she used to in person. Funny how there are so many more teachers on DCUM now that they're not really working full time. |
Wow, this is the most DCUM series of posts I've ever seen. Well done. [Just wanted to get my comment in before this thread is reported by our resident hall monitor for "bashing"] |
I strongly suspect this is why so many of them want to stay at home. No commute and only teaching a portion of the time they used to when they were in school buildings. They essentially went to WFH part-time without sacrificing any salary or benefits. |
How many times have I heard "if you actually loved your children you would make DL work." And what they mean by "make it work" is "quit your job." Teachers unions are contributing to a mass exodus of woman from the workplace. And now it's finally impacting their own members. |
Nope. Not a teacher. See above |
We didn’t mean you need one for financial reasons. |

Not very bright, is she? |
LOL, true |
Oh no! An anonymous poster on DCUM doesn’t think I’m smart. What shall I do? I guess I’ll go cry in my indoor pool. It will collect my tears so others don’t see them. |
Let's stop engaging with this person who is clearly making fun of parents legitimately concerned about the wellbeing of their children and the catastrophic failure to open schools like so many other places have done in a responsible manner. |
Prob what she needs is to go back to work in school. Too much time available with DL |
Agree. She's sad, desperate, bored, stupid and crazy. |
