That's the thing with Trump, he inspires hate as a bully and doesn't care if the rest of the world hates the United States. After three more years, the world will find a way to get on without us.

"The world" sucks. They always have hated us. They put on an act as long as we pay them or they rip us off or fight their ears for them. I like keeping our money and seeing the truth.

No, the world does not hate the US. The world hates Donald Trump.

They would hate any president that cuts off the grift.

Grift = trade partners, allies, consumers of IP not calculated in the deficit

Ripping off the capitalist USA is how they find their socialist grift.

A president that ends the sophomoric party is an issue for weak and lazy parasitic jurisdictions.

Disney is saying 8% increase for parks and cruises. Shouldn't this be a drop with all the foreigners staying away?

Disney Parks are not just Orlando and Anaheim. I would think their revenue numbers include the parks in Paris, Hong Kong, Shanghai, and Tokyo. Disney also has cruise lines that operate outside the US.

It's the early days of stagflation and it's already here, showing up in the data quite clearly:

ISM Services Prices Paid for July shows that inflation pressures in the service sector are intensifying, pointing to upside risks to CPI inflation over the coming months, see chart below.

At the same time, employment growth is slowing down and the unemployment rate is rising.

The sources of this stagflation impulse are tariffs, deportations and the depreciation of the dollar.

I live near the Canadian border. Yesterday I went to Canada for a few hours at a crossing that I've been to several times recently. This is the crossing on the most direct route between Boston and Montreal.

There were no other cars in either direction. Late morning and late afternoon. Never seen that before.
