I keep going back and forth on this. Her delivery is…not soft…to put it nicely. But then again, she’s saying all the crap he really needs to hear. Move out, pay your own bills, learn how to boil water…just basic stuff. I definitely don’t agree with her reactions to a lot things, like the duck interaction was way overblown, but the gist of her concern is that he needs to grow up. I don’t disagree. Ganging up on him on camera with her friends was a lot, though. I felt for him because it was like a kid getting shamed with the dunce cap by the mean teacher. But like a 26-year-old kid! |
He's 29! Hannah should have been nicer, and frankly should have ended it a lot sooner. He's very much a work in progress. Whether or not you are sympathetic to that, he is not what she wanted at all and she should have cut him loose. She didn't respect him, which personally I get, but she chose to torment him rather than let him go. Though I don't think he liked her either, was just in it for the publicity and much more conscious of the camera. |
29?? That’s even worse. lol yikes. |
I agree. She was sadistic and her evil smile gave me the creeps by the last episode. She thinks way too highly of herself He's immature but seems like a better person. I can't see her in any relationship. The relationship with her parents was weird. She was on her own at 18 because they kicked her out or she just went away to school? Her mom seemed okay (the person who locked up food from her) and was Hannah like the Bad Seed? She didn't add up. |
He didn't like her, but he did not want to risk being another Shake. Her weight meant he absolutely could not dump her, had to be her idea. He's thrilled to be getting sympathy and having women slide into his DMs. |
The reunion will be high drama, for sure.

Alex and Tim were a terrible match too. I hated both of their apartments. His was fussy with his talismatic tchotzkes placed just so, in a way that would not allow anyone else to share it, and hers was a chaotic, impersonal mess. Clearly not meant for each other. They seemed to hate each other. He was nasty at the end. |
Yes, he seemed to really resent her. I don't understand her apartment - really no excuse for it as an adult woman. But back to him, I fear he would be impossible to please - I believe he compares everyone to his sisters and everyone would have to jump through hoops to please his parents. She has dodged a lifetime of criticism and unhappiness but she should really really clean and organize her apartment. I can't believe she let him see it like that. |
The reunion promo with Brittany and Leo decreepified him a bit. |
I hear you but the constant anger I curl jokes are not cool. As someone who was born with curly shiny hair it’s frustrating to hear people act like it’s such a bad thing. I’m sure his hair is natural and that he doesn't have it processed. The pieces on the side. Have at it. They are awful. |
Oops. Jheri curl |
I am watching the Flapper Party and what Katie is telling Nicky D about leading not with his charisma and charm but with his morals and strong family ties is so sweet. She's giving him really, genuinely good advice. I hope he hears it. I like that she told him he's immature but in a much more gentle way than Hannah has. Hopefully he is receptive to what Katie's said and brings that forward into his (I am assuming) next relationship. |
Can someone explain to me in simple terms why Taylor was so upset that Garrett wrote back to an ex explaining he's met someone, got engaged and doesn't want to talk with the ex anymore? Her reaction seems super dramatic to me. What am I missing? So he didn't tell her right away - so what? He did nothing wrong. Right? |
I think he liked and commented on an ex's social media post, and Taylor was upset about that. First he said he just liked it, then changed his story to commented on it. No specifics about the content. Although I think it's silly and probably manufactured, every couple needs to discuss and agree how to handle contact with exes. But it was basically a nothing burger. |
Yeah I just got to that part last night and my jaw dropped. He immigrated here for a better life, and then judged a woman her served the nation giving him a better life. He comes across as an entitled brat. That said, my instinct that his sartorial choices signaled a depraved and morally bankrupt individual were on point. |
