I have been to two "real doctors". one prescribed ozempic and the other wegovy. thank you for your concern.

Then just pay for it yourself instead of trying to find a way to lie to insurance company.

I will pay for it but since I payed tens of thousands of dollars to insurance over years why not try to get some benefit from it once in a blue moon?

also, when did I lie to insurance? it is a fact that I am obese and that dieting has made me more obese. my blood work is what it is.

That is not a “fact” in any way whatsoever. Sorry, the laws of science apply to you too.

as i said, i've been dieting for 40 years and i am now 50 pound overweight. unaided dieting does not work for me. it's a fact.

Diets rarely work for anyone. You just need to eat healthy food and move more. Taking a pill is the easy way out.

People who can’t get Ozempic covered by insurance are buying 2mg pens, even though they use lower doses, so they can get more medication and spend less. I get it, but it sticks for people who actually need that dosage for the intended purpose: diabetes.

Someone literally listed a bunch of places in the area that have it in stock. And the “shortage” ends this week according to the FDA.

Guess what none of those places have it on stock

Couldn’t pick up my medication today, because despite people claiming there isn’t a shortage, there is. I’m really sad and scared about my a1c going back up without this medication.

I understand people on this thread don’t care about people like me, and that kind of sucks.

People who take ADHD meds are also gaslit that there is not a shortage of adhd meds when there very obviously is. Hope you find resolution, I imagine this is going to continue for semaglutides very similarly to the path that stimulants took where eventually the ability to be prescribed them is going to become arduous and then finding them even if you get an RX will be hard.

I’m sure you enjoy telling people with depression that taking a pill is the easy way out as well. They should just get over themselves, walk it off and get a better attitude. It’s really just a moral failing that they are so lazy and rely on a pill. Must be so awesome to be you without any health problems.

Well diabetics need the 2mg dose and now we can’t get it. You people are truly amazing. You don’t care at all, do you?

Where are you located? Under the troll bridge? I’m in DC and have been on 2mg of Ozempic for 4 months. I’ve never had a problem getting it from CVS. As soon as I finish the pen, I check the refill box on the CVS website. Within a couple of days, I get a message to come pick it up.

The OP has been very clear she doesn’t want to even attempt to do the work. That’s why she has been getting so much flack. That and the attitude about her entitlement to the drugs. The combination is quite something

Stop trashing OP. She states later that she’s been dieting for decades. She’s a woman in her mid-50s. If neither of experienced apply to you, stand down. The struggle is real.

If you want to lose 50, eat less and move more and cut down on carbs. That will do a lot to help your glucose too. You don’t need Ozempic.

STFU

Are you 50 pounds overweight?

Maybe if you were, you could empathize with how difficult it is to shed those pounds!!

Really, if you have no empathy, STFU.

She just vented that it’s all about red tape. It is. She’s not evil or entitled. It’s a dumb reality of how insurance companies work and it’s frustrating

Los Angeles, where everyone is on ozempic. I didn’t have any trouble until this month, now it’s impossible to find.

Have you tried Amazon pharmacy? Or another mail order option? Amazon has been working well for me.

+ 2000.

The attitude is what dooms her, not so much her intake.
