Jesus: not okay.

That about sums up some posters on here!

And who spouts off about tolerance every chance they can?

No one says you should tolerate racist, misogynistic traitors.

I do. I have the utmost respect for each of those 56 signers of the Declaration of Independence!

You equate the people storming the Capitol with the signers of the DOI?

Wow.

110% You are ignorant if you don’t know how the British reacted to that treasonous act.

Are you British? Is that why you think the founders of the US are traitors?

The Jan 6th Insurrectionists and everyone who supports them are traitorous POSs.

Giving the owner the trophy first is such the example of how much the modern day gladiator games is!

He gets you.

F*** off. I highly doubt that Christians would understand an LGBT atheist like me. Commercials like this do not belong on Super Bowl Sunday.

As a fellow LBGT atheist who is big into social justice work, my head exploded when the tag line popped up. I have no issue with Jesus. I have a HUGE issue with folks who invoke Jesus to dehumanize, demoralize, and discriminate marginalized people.

+1
As a straight white Lutheran SAHM, I am irate that people try to use Jesus to bash others. That’s the literal opposite of what Jesus taught.

I knew there would be a Pete Davidson Super Bowl commercial. But I expected him to be advertising either Taco Bell, SmartWater or Calvin Klein. Not Mayo.

It's right wing Christian propaganda and it seems like it's working.

At least it was an accurate depiction of Jesus’s message. The fact that you react so negatively to it suggests you might benefit from embracing that message, including having a little more grace.
