Northern VA therapist for bright, oppositional child

| Anyone know of a really dynamic therapist in northern VA that can outsmart a school aged child who is oppositional yet quite bright? Obviously half of the therapy will be for the parents. |

| How about spending $16 on a copy of "How to Talk so Kids Will Listen?" I bet your therapist will recommend it before s/he charges you $200. Give it a try. It's completely the opposite of what I've done the whole time I've been a parent, so it is not easy to absorb their philosophy... but i think there is some truth in it. It's just very hard to adapt the methods when you are used to something else. |

Im not aware of one, and perhaps PP is trying to be helpful, but it comes across as pretty rude.
FWIW I found "How to Talk so Kids" so obvious I stopped reading it. |
