Classical Ballet Theatre of Northern Virginia (CBT)

Anyone have feedback on this ballet school? They seem to have higher standards than other schools in the area. Would appreciate social feedback as well - ie is it a warm environment?

I am one of the dancers there, and I love it ! I have made so many friends there and the people there are amazing ! The teachers are strict but it makes it so the dancers learn more and have disipline . Ballet is a wonderful sport beacause it teaches people how to apply themselves and how to take corrections. I would definetly recommed going to CBT !

I am a parent of a student at Classical Ballet Theatre (CBT). CBT is a not-for-profit performing arts organization that affords some of the best pre-professional dance training and performance opportunities in the Washington Metropolitan Area. The Artistic Director, a former star of the Bolshoi Ballet, is dedicated, creative, and supportive. He and the other distinguished faculty take a sincere interest in every student. CBT parents also enthusiastically demonstrate great love and support for all of the young artists. I highly recommend CBT for its instructional expertise and its beautifully choreographed and costumed full-length productions.
