| We are 2 adults, 2 grade-school kids, about $180 between Giant and Whole Foods. |
| 2 adults, 3 children (5, 3, 14 months). On just food -- not including household items like cleaning products -- I would say we spend approximately $150-200 per week. We shop primarily at Costco and Wegman's, with some occasional Target or Safeway thrown in, and also buy about half of our meat from Polyface (ground beef and sausage mostly). We eat a lot of fruit and use a lot of fresh produce in general, so that accounts for probably half or more of our spending each week. |
| 2 adults and 1 cat. $250-$300 every two weeks, plus about $25 in fresh veggies every other week. Includes vitamins and cleaning stuff, etc. |
|
Family of 6---mom, dad, 4 boys between the ages of 6-12.
We spend between $100-$150 at Costco each week...and then another $60 or so at Wegmans once per week...plus a few random trips to the grocery store to pick up one or two items.... We don't eat out too much either...maybe once a month as a family, once a month as a date night for dh an I.....maybe once every other week we'll do pizza or some other form of inexpensive take out. |

2 adults, 2 children (7 & 2).
$160/wk at Whole Foods primarily (and small things at Trader Joe's and H-mart), sometimes includes toiletries and cleaning stuff that I forgot to buy online for cheaper. We buy organic dairy and some but not all organic fruits, vegetables and grains. Cutting down on prepackaged foods is what drastically reduces our bills (ex: organic grains in the bulk bins, hardly ever ham slices or crackers, etc). We cook mostly from scratch. |
| 2 adults, 2 kids, 1 cat...$200/wk at Wegman's. |
| 2 adults, 1 baby - $230 or so between Giant and Whole Foods. That includes non-food items like detergent, paper goods. |
| 2 adults, 2 kids under 10. We spend about $150 between Giant/Safeway and Target weekly. This includes food and non-food items. We spend about $200 every 6 weeks at Costco, which makes our weekly total roughly $185. This is our max without coupons/sales/special deals. I try really hard to get it lower and have been able to get the Grocery store and Target portion down to $120/week if I plan really really well. |
| 2 adults, 2 kids: $200 per week from WH or Wegman's |
| 2 adults, 1 toddler - $150 a week at whole foods. Including food, paper products and random toddler stuff. |
| 2 adults, 2 kids, about $300 per week at Whole Foods. |
| 2 adults, 2 dogs, random visits from grandchildren: $60-80 weekly at tjs and/or the commissary plus occasional stops at the fish market. Another $15 or so in dog food q2 weeks |
| Two adults, three teenage kids. About $250/wk at Trader Joe's and Giant. We also probably eat out once/wk. |
