It looks pretty fair and balanced to me also. Not beyond normal journalistic standards, but amazingly so for Fox.

Oddly, though, not knowing who posted, I don't know who you think is desperate and pathetic, the Dems, who might perhaps have been planning to toss the flags, despite their statement, or the Reps, who might have (possibly unknowingly) been engaging in the type of one-upmanship now all too common in our politics.

What's sad is that they're running this story on their home page. This isn't news. This is clearly an unveiled attempt to call Obama and all Democrats unpatriotic. No matter how individual stories are written, it's an editorial decision which stories to run, and how many of them support each side.

Trust me, as a liberal, it's making me sick to see CNN fawn all over Palin, but at least they're talking about both sides fairly equally!
