when can I test after 3 day transfer

Anonymous
I need to prepare myself psychologically for the fact that the test may not be positive. I'd like to take a home pregnancy test. When can I do this without concern of false negatives/positives?

I have only done IUIs so far, but I begin to test about 3 days past IUI. The first few tests are positive because of the trigger, but the line gets progressively lighter so I can monitor when the trigger has left the system. 2-3 days after that the line should get progressively darker. In my one successful pregnancy, I got a light but unambiguous positive on FRER 2 days before beta. On the day of beta FRER line was as dark as the control line.

So basically, in your place I would probably start testing immediately. I am sure many would disagree but that's what I do and it works for me.

I think I would drive myself crazy if I did this.
My nurse recently told me 18 days after retrieval.
