We're moving, and our lease states we must have a professional carpet cleaner come in. We've always just "DIY" carpet cleaned, so I'm not sure what to look for in a professional. I know there's a Stanley, but the yellow pages list so many more...Stanley quotes about ~$500, some have ads for $49 per room, others say $49 for 3 rooms and a hall! I want to compare apples to apples, so what should I be looking for?
What do you look for or ask for in a professional carpet cleaning? TIA! |

Not sure where you are, but I recently used this company and was pleased.
If you aren't in his area, he has a page that covers what you should look for. http://www.shamrockcarpetcleaner.com/ |

We used Stanley steemer and were pleased. We just did the sofa and two living areas and I believe it was under $250.
is your carpet in bad shape? is it really light? I would hire Stanley but they always have coupons, go on their website. |
| Thank you for the suggestions. I'll check out the shamrock site, too. Our carpet is light, but it's in really good shape and we could probably get away with just a DIY type cleaning. But because we have a pet, we had to sign the special lease clause, which says we'll show a "paid" receipt from a professional service. |
