Holiday shopping will be interesting this year. Curious to see the reports on Black Friday shopping.

Notable that this was before the shutdown.

It is so sad that the US was in generally ok shape when Biden left office and now we have this.

IMO, we were on the way to a better economy but then we got Trump.

having stated that, I don't think Biden should've run. He clearly had some type of dementia, and now he has cancer. He should've dropped out earlier in the game.

People are going to get the economy they thought/were told they had under Biden. Thanks MAGA!

If he had dropped out earlier, or not run, he would have been seen as a lame duck, which would not have helped US foreign policy at the time.

Disagree. People would've seen that he was putting country above his own ego. In that way, he is no different than Trump.

And it would not have had much impact on our foreign policy if another Dem took office.

I thought there was a big shopping boycott this year on Black Friday and cyber Monday?

Huge difference between ego and malignant narcissism. Equating the two on this is plain silly.

It’s definitely a buy what you need economy. I will be supporting multiple charity drives however. But there’s definitely an air of austerity about. People are getting more cautious.

Hint: it’s not the messaging. It’s the crappy economy.

+1 this is from a Trump fan

Had not heard this. But people are not spending anyway. Trump has introduced too much uncertainty into the economy and it’s clear he doesn’t care about anyone’s bank account but his own.
