What subjects are taught in Spanish at Key Elementary in Arlington?

I apologize if this is a topic that has been discussed before, but I couldn't locate info after a couple searches. I'm considering Key Elementary for my child to attend Kindergarten next year. Although I love the idea of the immersion program, neither my husband or myself speak Spanish. I'm curious if anyone could share what subjects are taught in Spanish. My general understanding is that half the day is taught in Spanish, and have concerns on how we will be able to help our child with homework, etc if we don't even understand the language ourselves. I plan on attending the tours/open house but would appreciate any insight. Thank you.

First of all, keep in mind that lots of other non-Span speaking parents do this! (Send their kids to immersion schools, that is, and see them thrive.) Having said that, Claremont (the other APS immersion school) does "Language Arts" and social studies in Eng, then math, sci and some add'l LA in Eng. Art alternates year by year, meaning there are two art teachers at the school and your DC would have art in E one year, S the next. PE and music are likely in English.

Key is probably very close to the Claremont model. I'd find out if Key has early release Wednesdays -- Claremont doesn't, so if that's a difference, that means it'll be a difference (but not a huge one) in delivery of instruction. And of course check the Key web site, where this info may be listed.
