Quinny vs. BOB Stroller

Anonymous
DH and I have narrowed the big decision down to the Quinny Buzz and BOB Revolution. Any insights on pros or cons of either?

I don't have either but we are considering both. The salesman (he was fantastically patient and helfpul, his name was Islandar) at Great Begininings said that now that the Quinny has been out for a bit, he's starting to hear that the leg room is a bit short for taller todlers and highly recommended the Bob. We're going to go with the Orbit because it fits into our car and then move up the Bob when he outgrows it. Good luck!

I don't know about the Quinny, but I have a BOB and LOVE it! I was hesitant at first because of the price tag, but it was definitely worth the money. It's very smooth and easy to maneuver. We have the infant car seat adapter and use the BOB on walks around the neighborhood. Once my DC's old enough, I'll use it on jogs.

I think they are really intended for slightly different uses. The BOB is the Rolls-Royce of jogging strollers. I love mine! It rolls like a dream and is easy to use. It is a little heavy and bulky for every day use or for putting into a small car. I am not sure if the Quinny is rated for jogging. If you are looking for a jogging stroller, I highly recommend the BOB. If you don't mind the size, it is also great as a normal stroller.

I would go with the BOB if you wanna jog. Also it's more durable/rugged for off-pavement terrain like cobblestones, gravel, track, etc. Quinny Buzz looks cool, but isn't as durable..and there is NO STORAGE. So, if you want to stroll around DC / Old Town/the mall, you have no where to put your bags. Quinny to me is definitely form over function.

I agree with the PP that the BOB is for jogging while the Quinny isn't. I disagree that the Quinny isn't durable -- we got our Quinny specifically because of our rough sidewalks and have been extremely pleased. I don't take it off-roading, really, but it definitely rides smoothly on uneven terrain. We love it.

It doesn't have that much storage, but the underneath shelf has worked fine for us. We love the Quinny.
