If anyone is looking for good, affordable, and in-home day care in the Mount Vernon area of Alexandria, VA, please respond. My day care provider has a few slots open and she is just wonderful. She takes all ages up to five and has over 30 years of experience caring for young children. Her home is immaculate and she has great facilities for young children. She is of the "old-school" of child rearing and will share her opinions with you freely, but she is warm, loving and the kids just adore her. I couldn't recommend her more highly.

That may be a bit far since I'd be coming from Old Town. What is the address? Also - does she take infants (app. 6 months old)? |
She does take infants and is wonderful with them. She lives off Frye Road, which is off Route 1 down by Smitty's and the Hollywood and Vines nursery -- from Old Town, it's about a 15 minute drive. If it's any help in deciding whether it's worth the trip, I work in DC (Metro Center) and fromt he time I drop off my daughter to the time I'm in my office, it's usually 35 to 45 minutes tops. |
What are your provider's hours? And would you be willing to provide her contact info? We are going to need someone to care for our infant in November. |
I would be interested in infant care too - I need it from April 1 this year for a 7 month old. COuld you provide a phone number/address for me to call/visit? |
How can you just post info abut a great daycare place and then not have the decency to follow up with folks who are interested??? Means it was a waste of your time to place the posting int he first place |
