Can't leave NH until 1pm Sunday. Want to avoid Mon AM NYC traffic.

I would just take 91 to 85 to 684 to the Tappan Zee bridge (via 287), then the Garden State Parkway and the NJ Turnpike to 95.
Are you planning on staying over? The area around the Tappan Zee is somewhat nice, and almost halfway, but I don't know what the traffic would be like Monday morning. |

I would just drive straight through. I did this drive all the time when I went to school there and it was about 8-9 hours. If you leave at 1 or 2 you will hit NY/NJ late enough that the sunday beach traffic shouldn't be that bad.
I just did 95 to 91. I think going through NY state on 87 would take longer and 91 shouldn't be too bad. |
