MaterniT21 test-- how long to get results back?

Anonymous
The clinic tells me sometimes they take a really long time to get the results back. I have heard 10 business days and then 10 calendar days but that sometimes they go beyond that. What are others experiences?

7 days, including the weekend.

I was told up to 2 weeks and got the results in about 1 week.

I was told 2 weeks, but got results in 8 business days

10 calendar days for me. They are growing a culture in the lab so that accounts for some of the time difference between people. The lab supervisor at Reiter Hill was able to look up my results on line so that may have helped me get them a day or two sooner.

Reiter Hill did the same thing for me. They know that you are waiting anxiously and got the results back to me as soon as they had them.

Lucky all of you! Mine took just under THREE WEEKS with Foxhall. Really stressful! And I was getting bigger and bigger but was waiting to tell folks until I got the results. Try to get the bloodwork done prior to the NT, if you can.

Op here, I am concerned about the timing of getting the results back b/c if I need to continue on to have a CVS, I need to do it in a certain window. I hope the results don't take 3 weeks b/c if so, i will miss the window for a CVS if needed!

My advice would be to get the Materniti 21 done exactly at 10 weeks, go in for the NT blood work ahead of time, and schedule the NT as soon as you get to the recommended window. Chances are you will get the Materniti results back before the NT.

I should add that if you get the NT bloodwork done ahead of the scan, they will give you the odds during that appointment. No need to wait longer for the ratios.
