hi,
I got some calphalon pots/pans for my wedding a few years ago. They are my main pots for cooking and I do like them a lot. Calphalon has lifetime warranty. They are getting some discoloration and some spots which may be upper layer of the material coming off (I can't tell - there is no chipping, but spotiness). I am wondering whether I should go through the process of using the lifetime warranty. Has anyone one sent in pots/pans and not received a replacement? What about wanting to exchange them for the stainless steel material? The thought of using a material that may be hazardous now that I have kids has crossed my mind. I appreciate hearing your experiences and thoughts on this. Many thanks. |
| Bump--would love to hear about others' experiences. |

I have done this three times. You send your pot in with a note (there is a specific address you can look up on their website)
They will send a new one back. |
| One of my pots started flaking off after 8 years of heavy but proper use. I was just going to toss it and get a new set...thinking that it's just the normal life span of nonstick. Husband convinced me to send it back to Calphalon just to see what happens. They sent me back a replacement pot in just 1-2 weeks. I was totally impressed. |
