I'm a year postpartum but definitely still carry more weight than I'd like in my belly.
I'm thinking about getting this dress but wonder if it will look right on me. I'm tall- just over 6''- and about 190 lbs. I used to be muscular, somewhere under that fat, especially in the upper arms. What do you think? Or do you have suggestions for sundresses that hide the pooch to the extent that's possible? http://www.garnethill.com/favorite-knit-tank-dress/236478 |
It doesn't look very flattering on the models. On one of the girls, it looks like she has a belly and I'm sure her tummy is flat. I would keep looking for a better style. Good luck

| I don't think that dress would flatter too many people, honestly. Look for something with a bit more structure and less cling. My niece is heavy, a lot of her dresses came from lands end and look really nice. |
| OP, I am the same height/ weight as you, and it would be a crapshoot. Depends where the waist hits. If it's too high, yup--I get preggo look. But if it's cut right, it works. No way to tell without trying it on. |
| Blug. That dress looks like it would really magnify any stomach issues. |
| I have the dress and someone actually asked me if I was pregnant. I was not. Trust me, not flattering. |
| ugly dress no matter what shape you are. |

It's tempting to go with the empire/high waist style when your belly is bigger than you'd like- don't do it.
Try something that accents your natural waist, like ans wrap dress. |
| lol I have this dress and don't wear it anymore. It is NOT flattering and I am in good shape. Don't buy it. |
